Falling Into Winter!
It seemed that summer took over most of September, and October was just a blip on the screen. The last few weeks of color will soon be a memory as we go full steam into the holiday season. I get a bit melancholy as we approach what I call “The deep dark and big cold”. However, I am grateful for the push to come indoors after the yard and garden are put to bed. I enjoy bringing warmth into the kitchen again and getting into those rainy (snowy?) day projects.
Did you know that October is (was) Family History month?
This is a great time of year to connect with family traditions, since the holidays are fast approaching. Whether you have a full calendar, keep a quiet season or are alone, this is a time to reminisce and connect. What holiday memories do you have or want to create this season?
